Nintendo Wii brings long-term benefits for the disabled
Staff at the National Star College (NSC) talk about what unexpected benefits the Nintendo Wii games console has brought its disabled learners. The console has given learners the opportunity to work hard on their co-ordination skills, sequencing skills, spatial awareness, balance, reaction speeds and more - whilst having fun at the same time. The NSC is part of the Technology Exemplar Network and is a winner of a 2008 STAR Award.
